La Heroica is a Miami based restaurant, bar and club. Original inspiration stems from India Catalina, a revolutionary woman who led the Spaniards to a better understanding of Columbian natives and their indigenous way of life. Her monument in Cartagena— where the restaurant's cuisine also pulls inspiration— was erected in honor of what Simone Bolivar dubbed, "La Heroica", the defining spirit of the city. Encapsulating this theme, the logo's custom lettering is inspired by the Old Town Cartagena street sign, near where La Heroica's monument lies.
